There is a saying that baking is an art and the baker is an artist.

And for some it’s a hobby, but for many it’s a form of therapy, just like cooking. This also goes for Hollywood celebrities.

With this in mind, let’s talk about five of these stars who are passionate about baking and recognized for their skills.

Taylor Swift often bakes cakes and cookies to show her fondness for one person.

For example, she baked a homemade pink cake for her good friend Selena Gomez to celebrate the latter’s 26th birthday in 2018.

A year later, Swift’s baking skills made headlines again when she sent a batch of chocolate chip cookies she had baked to her former rival, Katy Perry.

In 2020, reality TV star Khloé Kardashian started baking her bread, which we saw glimpses of in keeping up with the Kardashians and on Kardashian’s social media.

“I’m really proud of myself,” she wrote with her first message.

Her first batch included four loaves and cinnamon sugar pretzels. Soon, she started making cinnamon raisin bread, sourdough bread, madeleines, etc.

Kylie Jenner is third on this list.

The business mogul is known for her cupcakes. Jenner usually makes them on special occasions like Valentine’s Day and Halloween, but if her mood allows, she makes a few on normal days as well.

Her interior designer, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, once told a magazine that he built her kitchen so “she could enjoy cooking as much as possible”.

Gossip Girl Star Blake Lively has a thing for baking, as her husband, actor-producer Ryan Reynolds confirmed in an interview years ago.

He also joked that during his non-filming days, he gained weight from his baked goods and that she was “really good” at it (baking).

In June of last year, Lively surprised us all with her cake that looked like a real watermelon.

Unlike the previous ones, Emma Stone uses baking to manage stress. She picked up this habit while filming The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), starring Andrew Garfield.

“I think I felt out of control of my surroundings. I was cooking all the time. There were loads of things in the kitchen that no one could walk through. I was cooking too much,” she said at the time.
