Have you rallied to #SaveManifesto since yesterday saw the cancellation of the NBC drama? If so, you might be looking for a break to soothe the nerves. After catching up with the three seasons of Manifesto (the first two are now on Netflix), we have a few recommendations. Get ready for more mysterious shows like Manifesto to take flight on your watchlist.

Manifesto follows passengers on a flight that takes off, goes through turbulence and lands – five years in the future. The passengers had been reported missing, somehow defying all the laws of space and gravity on their seemingly straightforward plane flight. The show just debuted on Netflix, quickly surpassing the daily ranking of the streamer’s most popular shows and movies. Could that mean Netflix could save the series? Otherwise, we have a few similar shows to recommend.

Here are seven TV series like Manifesto to watch on Netflix, HBO Max and more:

Netflix has just released a new season of Dirty Jean, their real-crime anthology series that follows bizarre love stories gone awry. Season 2 follows the story of Betty Broderick, with Amanda Peet in the lead role. The series sees her marriage to her childhood sweetheart, Dan Broderick, and unveils a story of lies, hatred and rage that lurks under the seams. Even though her life seems perfect, the relationship takes its toll on Betty, pushing her to the brink of collapse.

“Sweet teeth”

Sweet tooth is Netflix’s latest apocalyptic series, and if you liked the fantastic elements of Manifesto, you’ll probably dig this one too. The series follows a half-human, half-deer boy on a quest to find his mother. He lives in a world ten years after “The Great Crumble,” a virus that led to the mysterious emergence of hybrid babies. If the boy is to find his mother, he will have to avoid the hunters on his long trip to Colorado.

Colony takes place in a futuristic version of LA where an occupation has locked the city into lockdown. Now under martial law and locked in their homes, the townspeople have two choices: obey or retaliate. But a war begins between the people who want to live under occupation and those who want to regain their old life, causing utter chaos.

Lost is certainly the show that most closely resembles Manifesto. A handful of aliens aboard a plane must rally together when the plane crashes on a distant island. Things get even more bizarre when they realize that they are not alone on the island – not only that, they are in grave danger. Long-running mystery drama is an absolute must-see for any Manifesto fans, surely an inspiration for the new series.

No more planes! Kaley Cuoco stars in HBO Max The stewardess, which follows a mystery involving a hotel room, a dead man, and the cargo of drama surrounding the event. When a flighty flight attendant sleeps with one of her passengers, she wakes up to realize that he was murdered next to her in her bed. Instead of reporting the murder, she does what anyone could: run. Now on the run, she’s investigating who may have murdered her ex-lover.

Emergence was another mystery drama that was canceled too soon. The series follows Jo, a police chief who takes in a young child whom she finds near the site of an intriguing accident. The girl has no memory of who she is or what happened in the crash, leading Jo into a dangerous conspiracy bigger than she ever imagined. If she can find out the identity of the child, she’ll open the case wide.
