Former flight attendant Rosie Perez will join the bilingual thriller Now and Then. Apple TV Plus will be in English and Spanish.
The stewardess alum, Rosie Perez, will join the upcoming bilingual thriller, Sometimes. Perez is acclaimed on HBO Max’s The stewardess, which stars Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory Fame. On the show, flight attendant Cuoco is involved in a murder investigation after waking up to a dead body. Perez played the role of Megan Briscoe, again a bilingual character, who sells government secrets to North Korea.
According to Variety, Rosie Perez is expected to star in Sometimes, a bilingual Miami-based thriller on Apple TV Plus. Perez will be joined by an all-Hispanic and Latino cast, including José María Yazpik, Maribel Verdú and Roma‘s Marina de Tavira. For the sake of diversity, the show will be shot in Spanish and English.
The plot of Sometimes revolves around a group of college best friends whose lives are changed forever after a party weekend ends with one of them dead. 20 years later, the other five are reluctantly reunited by a threat that puts their “seemingly perfect worlds threatened. “In the upcoming thriller, Perez plays Flora,”a talented detective obsessed with an unsolved case from 20 years ago. “
The stewardess left quite a few questions unanswered. Perez’s character ends the show on the run after being arrested for industrial espionage. Fans who appreciated Perez in this thrilling role will be thankful for Sometimes waiting for season 2 of The stewardess. Perez has had a long and successful career so far, and it will be interesting to see what she brings to the role of Flora when the new thriller premieres.
