BBC Nativity! Where the actors are now from Hollywood actors to TikTok stars

The end of the year celebrations are accompanied by gourmet dishes, a fountain of mulled wine and an endless list of Christmas movies.

The film follows the story of an elementary school teacher who tries to set up the best nursery with his class after his ex promises to visit him.

But a lot of time has passed since the films were first released 12 years ago and some of the actors have continued to earn their own fame, whether it’s starring in the BBC’s top-rated dramas or familiar faces on TikTok.

Paul Maddens – Martin Freeman



Martin Freeman got stronger and stronger

Martin Freeman is remembered by most Christmas fans for playing John, one of Love’s “extras”, Really alongside Joanna Page in 2003.

Martin has won several awards for his roles over the years, including a BAFTA and an Emmy for his role as John Watson.

Jason Watkins is a familiar face

Jason has a huge resume of appearances on the small and big screen.

He has made appearances on shows such as Call the midwife, line of duty , and Doctor Who .

Recently he appeared as former Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the Netflix series The crown and writer Brian Masters on ITV From .

He also currently stars as Detective Sergeant Dodds alongside Tala Gouveia in McDonald & Dodds.

Jason reprized his role of Gordon for Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger and Nativity 3: Dude, where’s my donkey?

The actor also appeared alongside Emma Roberts, Natasha Richardson and Alex Pettyfer as Mr. Nellist in the cult teen movie. Wild child.

Sadly, he and his wife Clare Francis lost their two-year-old daughter Maude in 2011,

Madue died of sepsis and since then the actor has spoken of her loss in hopes of raising awareness about the disease.

Jennifer Lore – Ashley Jensen

Pam Ferris has played iconic roles over the years, including the terrifying Miss Trunchbull in the 1996 film version of Roald Dahl. Mathilde .

Becky – Krista Hyatt

Before Krista starred in the Christmas hit, she had already appeared on our TV screens after appearing on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2008.

Since the Nativity! Krista has accumulated over 12,000 subscribers on TikTok.

Sam – Maeve Dolan

The character of Maeve was known to never be seen without her trusty striped hat and for auditioning with the song Teenage Dirtbag.

Now 19, she is currently studying at the University of London.

Like Krista, Maeve is also a regular TikTok creator, posting videos on Knitting, Teen Wolf, United Life, as well as her time on Nativity!

William – Michael McAuley

The character of Michael is known to be one of the kids who flew to Hollywood with Mr. Maddens.

He is currently a student at the University of Birmingham.

Much like his other castmates, he also posts his experiences with the film on his TikTok.
