Three adult cats refused to leave a stranded little kitten and helped him jump five feet onto a roof so he could join them.
The cats looked over the edge of the building in Naples, Italy, as the little feline, who was too small to make the jump, was stuck on the steps below, according to a video.
The footage, taken by a nearby resident identified only as Lucio, shows the moving moment one of the cats jumps up to carry the helpless kitten to safety.

The older cat grabs the kitten in its mouth and tries to make the jump, but the little feline slips out of its mouth and tumbles down the difficult steps.
The cat refuses to leave the kitten behind, descending to make the five-foot jump and carry it to safety.
On its second attempt, the cat manages to jump onto the roof without dropping the kitten and reunites it with the other felines.
The three cats are seen cramming onto the kitten sure it is not hurt before four big cats tied together on the roof.

It is not known if the kitten fell from the roof or if all three cats jumped first and had to leave for their young feline friend.
The heartwarming video footage was captured on May 14 of this year and has recently resurfaced.
