Mr McCarthy said the people of Achill were delighted to welcome the production teams to Achill and hope they enjoy their stay.
“We are delighted that they are choosing Achill as their location and that they live with us in our community. We hope they have a good time and that everything goes well during the shoot. There’s a lot of excitement here and it’s good to see a number of locals getting extra roles. Hopefully there will be more movies coming in the future, ”he said.
