BRADLEY Walsh is one of our most important and beloved artists.
Whether it’s acting, presenting or singing, there’s nothing the star, who is celebrating her 61st birthday today, can’t do.
While most people see him in The Chase every weekday evening – and sometimes on weekends too – Bradley is known for many other projects over the years.
Combine his busy work life with his home life as a father of two and a loving husband, and Bradley has a pretty setup.
Bradley has been playing since the early 2000s, but one of his biggest roles was as Danny Baldwin on Coronation Street.
Bradley played Danny – Mike Baldwin’s son – from 2004 to 2006, with his on-screen wife Debra Stephenson.
Law & Order United Kingdom
Bradley played lead detective, DS Ronnie Brooks in the British adaptation of the hit American series.
Bradley continued in the role for eight seasons before declining a contract option for a ninth series, which led to the series being retired indefinitely.
Bradders joined the hit BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who as Graham O’Brien for series 11 and 12, alongside the series’ first female doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker.
It was confirmed last year that Bradley will be leaving after two seasons, and his next TV project will be in The Darling Buds of May spin-off The Larkins.
Bradley started presenting The Chase in 2009 and has overseen 14 regular series and 11 celebrity series.
The show has won a National Television Award three times, in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Beat the hunters
The success of the original show led to the spinoff series Beat The Chasers in 2020, with Bradley returning as host again.
Bradley clearly loves a game or quiz, as he also featured a new take on Blankety Blank at Christmas 2020.
It was such a success that it was commissioned for a full series.
Bradley moved away from television with the release of his debut album, Chasing Dreams, in 2016.
The album peaked at No. 10 on the albums chart and became the first album by a best-selling British artist in 2016.
This led to the release of a second album, When You’re Smiling, in 2017.
Before Bradley got into the professional acting and presentation game, he was a footballer.
Bradders signed for Brentford and was on loan at Barnet before playing for Tring Town, Borehamwood and Chalfont St Peter.
However, ankle injuries caused Bradley to hang up his football boots when he was just 22 and embark on a whole new career.

Bradley is a father of two, having his eldest daughter Hayley in 1982 in a previous relationship before marrying Donna Derby in 1997.
The couple welcomed their son Barney in December 1997 and the 23-year-old himself has gained a legion of fans through his ITV series with his famous father, Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad.
Donna is also used to the limelight, having choreographed the Miss World beauty pageant and starred in Robert Palmer’s music video, Simply Irresistible.
She also appeared in six episodes of the Kenny Everett TV show.
