Viewers of ITV’s The Chase took to Twitter after spotting a celebrity lookalike on the show.

Fans of the ITV1 quiz show hosted by Bradley Walsh thought they were seeing double when contestant number two was presented.

Some of those who listened to the show between 5 and 6 p.m. suggested the contestant was British comedian Sarah Millican.

Viewers thought The Chase contestant looked like Sarah Millican

Rod Turnbull tweeted: “Times must be tough if you appear in pursuit #lookingdonein”

Diane Morcom said: “Blimey, Sarah Millican is showing her age!”

Tweeter ‘Daz’ said: “Sarah Millican when she turns 70”.

Sarah Millican’s lookalike was actually Carole and was a retired pension worker from Peterborough.

Tonight’s quizzes all beat the pursuer to advance to the final round, vying for the chance to win £ 20,000.

After a difficult final round, the competitors returned home with the money.

The Chase is a daily quiz show that airs at 5 p.m. on ITV1.
