Josh Cruddas stars in two new Hollywood movies

Josh Cruddas juggles a musical and acting career with a new album and two Hollywood movies.

This morning he joined us to talk about his latest film, ‘Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City’, which hits theaters on November 24.

Cruddas stars as fan favorite Ben Bertolucci in upcoming film Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City.

“Ben is a conspiracy theorist investigative journalist,” Cruddas said. “It’s curious what Umbrella Corporation is doing in Racoon City. “

Cruddas says he played Resident Evil video games a bit as a kid, but was ultimately too scared. When he got the role in the new movie, he visited horror games again.

“Director Johannes Roberts got the blueprints from CAPCOM, who created the games to recreate The Spencer Mansion,” Cruddas said. “So they really did their homework and it shows… the movie is totally immersive and totally scary.”

Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City hits theaters on November 24.

Cruddas is also appearing alongside Donald Sutherland in a film called Moonfall which will be released in 2022.

“It’s by Roland Emerich, who makes all of these amazing disaster movies that I love so much,” Cruddas said. “I was very happy to be a part of this film.”

Falling moon talks about a NASA executive, an astronaut and a conspiracy theorist who travel to space to prevent the Moon from crashing into Earth.
