Kaley Cuoco has ruled out a major character return for The stewardessis the second season.

the The Big Bang Theory The star, who is executive produced and stars Cassie Bowden, has confirmed that Michiel Huisman is unlikely to reprise his role as Alex Sokolov.

In a piece of news that isn’t all that surprising – seeing as Alex is, you know, dead – Kaley said Weekly entertainment that she “doesn’t think” that the character will return when The stewardess Is.

Although Huisman’s character was killed off in the drama’s first episode, he often came across as a figment of Cassie’s imagination, as she tried to come to terms with being a suspect in his murder.

However, Cassie’s subconscious will be back, so it’s not a done deal. “Cassie is going to have to face some of her own demons in the Spirit Palace, especially now when trying to stay sober,” Kaley added.

After a second season for The stewardess received the green light, it has been confirmed that co-showrunners Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin will be leaving the series.

Instead of, Queen of the SouthNatalie Chaidez executive producer will now be the series’ new co-host, alongside playwright Steve Yockey.

The stewardess, based on the book of the same name by Chris Bohjalian, broadcast on Sky one and NOW in the UK and HBO Max in the USA.
