Kate Garraway is concerned that Richard Madeley will be excluded from I’m A Celebrity … Get me out of here! as her appearance continues to be teased.

Richard has been tipped to go to the castle for the ITV reality show when he returns next month.

The lineup has already been confirmed, but only for hosts Ant and Dec, as fans look forward to seeing this year’s celebrity crop.

Richard and co-host Susanna Reid chatted with Kate about appearing on the show after her stint in 2019.

When asked what her advice would be, Kate started giving advice.

“This is the time of year when rumors are going around. What I would advise is to just be themselves as they are quite entertaining on their own,” she said.

But as Kate continued, Richard pulled a piece of paper from his pocket.

“Are you taking notes?” Kate then said as Richard replied, “No, I called ITV head office about this about 10 minutes ago because I knew you would do that.”

Richard said he had received a list of comments

“They said ‘Richard, if you are asked if you’re going to the castle, talk about the weather’ and it’s a remarkably mild weather that we have for the time of year I think.”

“Is it because you think about the weather in the castle?” Kate continued to probe.

Richard replied, “They said there were additional questions like that, so you should just say, ‘You can say,’ I can’t comment ‘or’ I can’t confirm or deny ‘. “

Richard has denied appearing on the ITV reality show this year

Kate admitted he had to speak up before he appeared in the jungle.

“Even when I got back I was so used to saying, ‘I can’t confirm or deny that I do, I’m a celebrity,'” Kate said with a laugh. “I say it again now.”

“It’s ridiculous,” said Richard. “When a secret comes out, it is, but anyway, I can’t comment.”

Richard was back on GMB with Susanna Reid

As Susanna suggested it was a confirmation, Richard teased, “And it’s true I’m learning a bit of Welsh.”

But a worried Kate commented, “They’re not going to let you down now, are they? Because you’ve given too many clues.”

“I can’t confirm or deny,” Richard replied before going on the show.
