PIERS Morgan hit back at the trolls accusing him of offering Antigua a freebie by telling them “I paid a high price.”
The columnist and presenter, 56, rested at the luxurious Jumby Bay Resort with his sons Spencer, Bertie and Stanley.
To mark the end of their annual trip to the Caribbean, Piers shared a photo from yesterday and today of his sons in the same location years apart.
He wrote: “How it started… How does it grow…
“Thanks to all the awesome staff at @jumbybayresort for another wonderful vacation. This is truly a very special place run by very special people.
“My sons and I go there most years for our annual ‘boys’ vacation” and we love Jumby as a home from home because that’s how everyone who works there makes us (and all the other guests) feel. . “
And lashing out at his detractors, he signed: “ps Relax, trolls, I paid full … I’m just giving them a lot of Insta love because they deserve it.”
The former Good Morning Britain host has ditched his usual, clean-shaven look during the holidays in favor of a more rugged style.
His new beard had fans comparing him to Michael Sheen and Tom Hanks in Castaway, while Piers described himself as a “beach bum.”
Piers’ wife Celia stayed at home in West London while the boys were away but said the time had passed.
The Jumby Bay Resort is popular with footballers Lionel Messi and Paul McCartney, and its Superior Suite costs $ 3,334 a night.
You can enjoy white sandy beaches, lush gardens, fine cuisine and a relaxing spa.
