Rebel Wilson‘s health year has captivated millions of Australians.

Over the past year, the Australian starlet has lost 30kg during a trip she has frequently shared with her 10 million Instagram followers.

After hitting her target weight of 74kg in 2020, Wilson has maintained her approach and says she has never felt better.

She shared the key to her transformation in a new interview with Shape.

“Until last year – my year of health – I never properly considered wellness from all of its angles,” Wilson said.

“But I was 40 and was thinking about freezing my eggs, and the experts told me the healthier I was, the better the process could go,” she added.

“I get a little emotional when I wonder why I didn’t care about my health before this.

“It just wasn’t a priority, and I didn’t know how to do it right.”

Wilson recounted how it took him a trip to a wellness retreat in Austria to learn how to lose body fat.

“While there, I learned that moderate walking – not even brisk – is the best way for me to lose unnecessary body fat,” she said.

In December, the Australian actor shared on Instagram Live some of the habits that have helped her successfully maintain her weight.

“I was determined in 2020, the year of health, to completely change my whole lifestyle,” she explained.

“So that meant not only, like, physically but also mentally.”

Wilson practiced mindful eating, focusing on foods that are nutritious and high in protein. She said it was also important for her to keep her mental health under control, as she had a role model. turn to food to manage your emotions.

“The goal was never to be skinny,” Rebel said in another Instagram Live.

“It was never to fit a certain dress size.

“I put a goal weight in there because I needed something tangible. I think it was about time.
