The best Hollywood movies are slated for release this summer

Although the pandemic has turned us into bodies at home, there’s one thing we can all agree on: some films are best enjoyed in theaters.

Whether it’s a sci-fi movie or a horror thriller, some genres are just too jaded when you watch them at home.

If you agree, you will enjoy yourself.

Here are some of the most anticipated Hollywood movies that will keep you hooked.

Entertainment is important, but so is safety, so remember to mask up and maintain social distancing when you go out.

1. Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6)

After the release of the recent Spiderman, another Marvel movie is upon us. In the film, Dr. Strange ends up casting a forbidden spell that opens a portal to a parallel universe. What’s revealed goes far beyond what’s expected, and we’re excited to see how our superhero handles what lies ahead.

2. Top Gun: Maverick (May 27)

Starring Tom Cruise, this action movie tells the story of the Navy’s top aviator, Pete Maverick Mitchell. After 30 years of service, Pete must work on a special mission that confronts him with his past and his deepest fears. But the mission requires the ultimate sacrifice of whoever pilots it.

3. Jurassic World Dominion (June 10)

With a brilliant all-star cast that includes Chris Pratt, the latest part of Jurassic films pushes the boundaries. The plot revolves around how humans try to coexist with dinosaurs. While we don’t know much more about the film, we do know that the star’s original cast will return in this final chapter.

4. Elvis (June 24)

Who doesn’t know Elvis Presley, right? Well, with this movie, you get to know him a little better. Starring Tom Hanks and Austin Butler, this film revolves around the rise of Elvis Presley in the 1950s and his complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker (played by Tom Hanks).

5. Thor: Love and Thunder (July 8)

Although the trailer for the film is yet to be released, the teaser has left us with enough excitement and anticipation. The only thing we know from the teaser is that this part is going to revolve around her journey of self-discovery and that Jane Foster is picking up Thor’s hammer.

The bottom line

This summer is going to be a summer of excitement, adventures, action and lots of drama. From sci-fi to action and comedy, we’re thrilled to finally be able to watch these movies.
