The game, which was originally released in 2013 but has had regular updates, has survived the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Xbox 360.
As fans wait for the ultra-hyped GTA VI to hit the market, here’s a look at the star-studded GTA V cast.

Lamar Davis is a popular secondary character in GTA V.
In 2013, Slink Johnson’s portrayal of Davis won GiantBomb’s Best New Character award.
Davis has an in-game Rottweiler pet named Chop that can be partially controlled by the player.
Chris D’Elia as Drunk Driver

The Drunk Driver is an interactive character in the sandbox world of GTA V.
Depending on the protagonist under which the user is logged in, conversations and results with Drunk Driver will change.
The character is supposed to be voiced by controversial actor/comedian Chris D’Elia.
But the notoriously sarcastic D’Elia posted on Twitter that it wasn’t him – IMDb and GTAWiki say otherwise.
Several celebrities have played very minor on-screen roles or supported the GTA radio system, which activates when players board vehicles.
Lisa Ann, a former adult star turned sports podcaster, played a character named Prostitute #2 on one of the missions.
Comedians Danny McBride, JB Smoove and Hannibal Burress have all contributed to radio programming as DJs and hosts.

Dozens of celebrities have contributed to the GTA franchise – Ray Liotta, Joe Pantoliano and even original Dune movie star Kyle MacLachlan have done voice work for the series.
Rumor has it that Rockstar Games is harnessing some lesser-known talent for GTA VI, which is slated for release between 2023 and 2025.
